Sometimes the Most fun you can have is seeking some of the sketchiest terrain your environment has to offer, and shut up and SHRED. Five Mile brings you Jackson Wells most recent adventure to a infamous northwest sketch path…Hairy Trail.
Dan Couch shreds a run through the sketchy streets of Seattle on the NEW 78a Divine City Slashers and the upcoming P-40 Warhawk from Five Mile. Special Thanks to Divine Urethane for helping make it happen. Expect to see a lot more in the future from this kid, these wheels, and this New deck!
“Reanimation” is a documentary about a longboard company battling with their own limitations in the harsh quest to find the American Dream. The film follows Five Mile owners Dan Kasmar, Cody Shea, and Stan Zeilinski through the painstaking task of moving into their new factory and redeveloping all of their products for the 2011 season simultaneously. It will bring you into their world and their lives as they attempt to accomplish in one month, what has taken so many others years to achieve. A true underdog story of sacrifice, determination, and their love and dedication to the sport of downhill skateboarding.
PART THREE- The conclusion of the film features the rest of the Black Sheep Squadron including riders Brent Dubes Dubendorff, Rain Daley, Connor Harkey, Cameron Crazy Legs Owen, Jackson Wells, Karlton Spates, and Five Mile’s newest weapon, Dan Couch. As the first finished products roll out of the shop, the crew reflects on what has gone on over the past weeks. And finally the film leaves you with an epic team session set in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State.

PART TWO – The film begins with a history of how the reformation came into play, with the inclusion of Stan Zielinski and Joe Ingersoll. The boys get their molds back from the CNC shop and the prototyping begins! Also meet one of the most infamous members of the Black Sheep Squadron, Dennis “The Mennis” Manougian.
PART THREE- Premiers in Tacoma at B.S.B.G. (Backstage Bar and Grill) September 8th at 9pm and it will be an all ages screening until 11pm! after 11 pm the bar will remain open to only those 21 and over. Please take the next day off of work and come support the company’s first public unveiling of the entire 2011 fall deck line, as well as the film that captured the tasks step by step.
Part three will conclude the film with revealing the rest of the Black Sheep Squadron, as well as the final process of the newly finished products, and an epic downhill team video filmed exclusively in the Washington Cascade Mountain Range.
